“My motivation is that after using my expertise on each individual patient, l am then so immensely rewarded to see how l assisted in bringing and keeping them in optimal health”.
Background
A keen manual therapist, I was born and raised in Amsterdam and gained years of experience since I graduated in 2011, as a Master Manual Therapist at the SOMT.
My career is broadly focused in the treatment of complaints to the musculoskeletal system. As a manual therapist, even though I mainly treat complaints related to the spine, l also work on complaints to the joints, e.g. shoulders, hips and knees – which can be effectively treated with manual therapy. I use Mulligan techniques: a pain-free method to effortlessly align the joint into the right position.
I use my passion for exercise and sports to guide and treat my patients. Using a combination of focused research and their actual physical condition to perform manual and exercise therapies, is at the forefront of the treatments that l offer to my clients.
