Wendy Brinkman
Specialisation: Cesar Therapy
Expertise: pelvic floor problems, improving posture, chronic pain, pregnancy and sleeping problems, neck and back pain.
“It’s so rewarding when you get to know your body, and you can actually listen to it. This gives you so much more control, energy and enjoyment of life”.
Background
“After completing my training Cesar Therapy in 2000, I continued to follow courses and refresher courses and have since specialised in pregnancy and pelvic floor problems and I even trained as a sports instructor. These specialisms are now coming together nicely with ‘Mom in Balance’, where I train mothers to stay fit and energetic during and after pregnancy. I also attended courses at Tigra, Dunnewolt and OLVG in order to specialise in the treatment of scoliosis.
I’ve been a member of the Foundation National Network Remedial Chronic Pain whereby I did further training in relaxation, breathing, motivational interviewing and sleep. I’m quite intrigued by Sleep Exercise Therapy as so many people suffer from sleep problems and I know what a huge influence this can have on one’s physical well-being. Since 2010, I’m a part of the enthusiastic Praktijk Brouwersgracht team”.
