{"id":3857,"date":"2026-09-17T14:38:17","date_gmt":"2026-09-17T13:38:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/praktijkbrouwersgracht.nl\/?p=3857"},"modified":"2026-09-17T14:52:50","modified_gmt":"2026-09-17T13:52:50","slug":"introducing-karla-plugge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/praktijkbrouwersgracht.nl\/en\/introducing-karla-plugge\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing Karla Plugge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isselectedend\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We are delighted to welcome Karla Plugge as of 29 September 2026 to our practice in Amsterdam.<br \/>\nKarla is a former Olympian with more than 30 years of experience as a physiotherapist and manual therapist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isselectedend\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">She specialise in manual therapy and <a href=\"https:\/\/praktijkbrouwersgracht.nl\/en\/treatment\/physiotherapy\/dry-needling\/\">dry needling<\/a> and has extensive expertise in treating conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, hip and the entire spine. As a highly experienced all-round physiotherapist, Karla also offers second opinions for complex or persistent conditions. In addition, she supports patients experiencing physical symptoms associated with burnout.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isselectedend\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Karla works as a physiotherapist for the Royal Dutch Swimming Federation (KNZB), supporting Dutch national teams. She therefore has extensive experience treating elite and recreational athletes, as well as patients from all walks of life. Her approach is characterised by a thorough assessment, personalised care and a treatment plan carefully tailored to each patient\u2019s individual needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Alongside her new position in Amsterdam, Karla will continue working as a physiotherapist and manual therapist in Zaandam. She was keen to return to Amsterdam\u2019s vibrant atmosphere and diverse community.
