World Sleep Day 2018

Yesterday, 16 march, was the World Sleep Day 2018.
To emphasize the importance of good sleep, The International Day of Sleep was created.
The World Sleep Day takes place annually on the Friday before the spring starts.

In the Netherlands on this day especially to draw attention to the consequences of both sleep and a bad night’s sleep as well as for the ailments that poor sleep can cause.
A bad night’s sleep has consequences for your health and impede your daily functioning.

Figures on sleep disorders – Dutch Health survey CBS

According to new figures from the Dutch Health survey of the Central Bureau for Statistics (CBS) has 1 in 5 Dutch people have trouble sleeping.
The numbers about the sleep problems are new in the Dutch Health survey and are published yesterday.
